Christopher Love

Christopher Love was a Presbyterian pastor at St. Lawrence Jewry in London. He and his wife, Mary, had five children, two girls who died early in life, and three boys, the last one who was born a week after his death. He was arrested by Cromwell's forces for his alleged involvement in a plan to raise money for the monarchy, a charge Love denied. He was tried, convicted of treason, and beheaded on August 22, 1651.
