Charlene R Johnson

Charlene R. Johnson grew up in the Northwest with a fascination for Native American culture and a love of nature and animals. She had her own "animal angel" encounter when a black Labrador saved her life from an attacking pit bull. A former horse trainer and Scuba diving instructor, she is a Florida State Park Ranger and freelance writer who has written three books and been published in several magazines. Charlene lives with her cockatoo, Halo, and her Persian cat, Shady, in Ocklawaha, Florida.
