Arthur Sager

Arthur Sager was born in the Indian village of Hazelton, B. C., where his father was a medical missionary. He put himself through university by working in mines and, then after graduation, became a seaman, lift operator, reporter, actor, apple picker, teacher and mucker. During the war he flew Spitfires, serving as Flight Commander of 421 and 416 squadrons and Commanding Officr of 443 squadron.
