Arkadi Vaksberg

Arkadi Vaksberg is an author and longtime Paris correspondent of the magazine "Literaturnaia Gazeta". Vaksberg was born in Siberia in 1922 and has studied law and journalism. His published works include many articles on history and politics, as well as 40 books, including "The Soviet Mafia, Stalin Against the Jews" and "The Murder of Maxim Gorky". John le Carr has hailed Vaksberg as "a sober, shrewd, and secretly impassioned reporter of the Russian identity."
