Annie Marks

Annie Marks was born in Twickenham and developed her taste for history at an early age by being lucky enough to attend primary school within Hampton Court Palace, where history lessons were simply walking in the corridors and State apartments. In 1970 she moved to the Isle of Wight, but her spiritual home is the West Country, particularly the moors of Devon and Cornwall, where she plans to retire. She is married and has two grown-up sons.
