Alexa Johnston

Like many home cooks, Alexa Johnston learned to bake from her mother. Her interest in food, cooking, food history - and eating, of course - provided a cheerful background her working life. After completing a master's degree in Art History from the University of Auckland, Johnston spent 19 years as a curator at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki.
