Aeneas MacDonald

Aeneas MacDonald was the pseudonym of George Malcolm Thomson. He was author of some twenty well-regarded books. Whisky was published in 1930. Thomson adopted the pseudonym Aeneas MacDonald, which he never used again, in deference to his mother because his family were strict teetotalers and he did not wish to offend her sensibility on this subject. He died in 1996.
