Abby Irish earned a master's degree in education with an emphasis in counseling. She is active in several philanthropic organizations in the Phoenix area. Abby is a breast cancer survivor since 2007, and the proceeds from her books go toward making booby pillows for mastectomy patients. She has been married to her husband Craig for thirty-three years. They have a son and a daughter, who are both graduates of the University of Arizona. They also have two canines, Bomber and Lily. Abby loves to watch movies, eat chocolate, play competitive tennis, eat more chocolate, paint on the side (not the house), spend time with her family and friends, and then eat more chocolate-which she will do until she dies.
