Born in New Zealand, raised in Australia, A. L. Tippett has now made her home in tropical North Queensland. Her passions, outside of living in her fantasy worlds, are horse riding, burlesque and singing. She started her first novel when she was twelve but abandoned it after deciding that being an author wasn't a "real" job and therefore not worth pursuing.
