This was a interesting and different book. I enjoyed some of the poems in the book and the art work was well done. I would recommend this book.

poetry for children
Very much of the 'nonsense' genre - some great fun, some slightly more edgy. A poem with a particular critism of his younger sister could make for uncomfortable reading for any child in similar circumstances, or be used as a taunt, as it is pretty 'in your face'. But if taken in the spirit of 'nonsense poems' in general there is much to amuse

Good condition
I started reading some poems to my kids over the summer, we found Shel Silverman, to really have a way of mixing poetry with humor. Now the kids each have a copy for them selves to share with others. A must read!
