Good. A copy that has been read, but remains in clean condition. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact (including dust cover, if applicable). The spine may show signs of wear. Pages can include limited notes and highlighting, and the copy can include "From the library of" labels or limited small stickers. Book may have a remainder mark or be a price cutter.
Very Good- 9 X 6 X 0.80 inches mildly used paperback. binding remains solid, PO name in ink on ffep, no marks to text, wraps mildly sun faded along spine and cover hinges otherwise clean, page edges lightly scuffed but clean.
Units, Symbols, and Terminology for Plant Physiology: A Reference for Presentation of Research Results in the Plant Sciences is a very useful book for everybody dealing with plant science. It presents a lot of information in a clear and thoughtful manner giving guidelines on the way to use correctly units, symbols, and terminology in Plant Physiology (and in Plant Science as a whole). A very successful attempt, in my opinion, to try to standardize a field where usually incongruences in the topics covered by the book often makes difficult clear communication among scientists. A must have, indeed, and I am happy I was able to find out a copy, at a resonable price (which helps) here on alibris.
