Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. Nora Hopper (1871-1906) was an English poet whose work was strongly imbued with the Celtic sentiment. Although little known today, she was championed in her day by William Butler Yeats. Includes inscription and poem in ink on front free end page in the hand of Jessica Duncan Jamieson, as well as a tipped in reburttal poem title to JDJ with a slip of paper reading "William Parker" securing it. Another poem written in pencil appears facing this page, and another poem in the same hand is written in pencil on rear free end page. I Bound in highly decorated green cloth with red and black floral designs on front and back boards, and title and author in gilt to spine. In very good condition with light bumping to corners.
