"...important new tools to enable design and systems engineers to simplify and standardize the design of transformers and inductors." Electrical Engineering and Electronics series #7.
10 star rating- If Transformer design is part of your study or job then this book is one of those on the the "must have" list together with the companion Magnetic Core Selection by the same author. As for the book ; it's a working engineers tool kit to designing transformers primarily for SMPSs and as one of the "standards" needs no introduction from me. Most of the methods are fairly easily converted to running in a spreadsheet. For a novice I would guess it would be heavy going, but well worth the effort. (dja.)
