VG+ in Fine (Facsimile DW) jacket. Bound in black cloth, stamped in green and gold. The gilt on the facsimile signature on the front panel is barely readable. The gold and green stamped on the spine has held up well. Endpapers show some typical yellowing with the previous owner's neat name on the ffep. Overall a very acceptable copy of the true first edition (with the "A" on the copyright page) of this Hemingway novel. Included in the price of the book is a facsimile dust jacket that fits the book perfectly.
