Very Good in Good jacket. Small Folio. 168pgs. Green/blue tweed patterned cloth. light discoloration on upper spine, toning to edges. internally clean, umarked copy. Unclipped jacket moderately soiled, with chips along the extremities. Profusely illustrated with color and black and white illustraitons. A significant work on American Interior Decoration, Included are famous names from the past like Billy Baldwin, Tate and Hall, Ruby Ross Wood, Michael Taylor, George Stacey and many others.
This book is packed with photographs of vintage interiors by the greats: Baldwin(Billy), Sister(Mrs. Henry Parish II), George Stacey, and Mr. Michael Taylor to name a few. Though several of the shots are in black and white, enough are in color to make it worth the purchse. Though I am a visual person, I do like that each designer has written an introduction to the illustrations of their work. A definite treasure for anyone interested in the history of decorating or society.
