Mendelsohn wrote widely on the subject, including the historically important Drinking with Pepys (1963) and The Earnest Drinker (1951). Ivory cloth. Small sticker shadow on front cover, else very good. No dust jacket. Gabler G29590. Noling, p. 287.; Line drawings; 8vo 8"-9" tall; ix, 382 pages.
