This clean, straight little hardcover book (less than 7" high) has clean text pages, 64 illustrations by Beardsley, and a frontispiece portrait of the artist. Introduction by Arthur Symons (who described Beardsley's work as "a sort of abstract spiritual corruption.") Corners and spine ends of the book are bumped, and the binding is cracking. No dust jacket.

A great little book, usually 1918, which makes it about 90 years old. Contains an excellent biography of Aubrey Beardsley and also some 30 excellent lithographs. Well worth the effort if you enjoy Aubrey Beardsley... cheers enjoy
