Scottish-born Dr. Peter Marshall immigrated to America in 1927. During the next twenty-two years, before his untimely death in 1949 at the age of forty-six, he became one of the nations most famous preachers, pastor of Washington, D.C's historic New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, and Chaplain of the U.S. Senate.
