1st edition. 131pp, (5 x 7.5 inches). Good/Good, hardcover with dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt titles and decoration, spine slightly cocked (slanted), spine ends soft, and the boards a little splayed (curved). Contents faintly tanned, otherwise clean, no markings to text. There is a penciled inscription on the front endpaper stating that the book was a gift from the author, with the name of the owner and date (1935), but I don't know whether it was written by the author or the owner. Unclipped orange DJ bright and unfaded, lightly soiled and worn, chipping to edges with five little tears, longest is 3/4 inch. Poetry.
Very Good in Very Good jacket. Signed Inscribed to Emmet Pendleton, from the author, and signed. A nice copy, soundly bound, save for deterioration to the cloth at the front hinge (perhaps chewed by a bookworm). DJ is sharp, in mylar protector, with minor wear and aging.
