Fair. (Small, 2.5"x4", 200 pps, VERY SMALL print! ) Book Tour: All text is intact, legible, no stains (except 1/2"x3/4", bottom edge by spine, on last sheet only, which is blank both sides), however NO COVERS (so NO DJ goes without saying. If it weren't this antiquarian-1837! ! -I wouldn't list a book without covers, even tho still readable. ) Spine missing top 1/2" & sliver 1/8"x1 1/4" down front-"cover"-side from there, and bottom 1/4"; "HEMA" (missing the "N" due to the sliver gone) and "1" (for Vol 1) still string gilt letters, but not bright. Old tape repair crosswise (2 of them, going 1/2"-1.5" onto 1st/last pages), and down entire spine/1st page margin; the latter is what's holding in the first several sheets, which have disconnected from the main pack of sheets. After this separation, 2 sheets are separated bottom 2" (still held in at top & with binding string); rest of pages still tight to binding. 1st few sheets have 2-3 full-height vertical creases; one of the creases continues on thru about 1st 1/3rd of sheets. Gilt page edging is detectable, but worn away in areas (mostly on side & bottom edges, top pretty well intact), and not bright where it remains. Last sheet has 3/4"x1 1/2" torn off at top outer corner, 1/4" gone at bottom corner, and last few sheets have 1/4" tears at bottom spine. Page faces tanned, with foxing-heaviest toward front/back, but by no means absent in interior. Page corners soft to rounded, a few interior pages had 1/2" bends at top outer corner.
