Fine/Fine. Hardcover, with dust jacket, in Fine condition, looks like new except for a small number 1 written inside the cover, no other marks or writing, no other flaws to note, a nice-looking book, Annie's Attic Mysteries,
It was OK. I liked the fact that it was clean, with no graphic sex and profanity, and I liked the cross stitch background to the plot, however, I didn't think that the characters were well-developed, and I thought that there was a huge plot hole, considering that it was set in a very nosy small New England town.

A mysterybook that is different
If you are going for a normal mystery book then The lady in the attic is the wrong choise, but if you do love handcraft and history then this book is perfect.
The mystery she is solving is not a crime but more a historical mystery to find out who this Lady in the picture is.
I love handcraft and I loved to read this book , it is a book where the main person is working through her grieving period after her granmother died, by figuring out who the lady in the attic is

Book not for me
This book was purchased for my wife. She read it, liked it and that is all there was to it.
