This is one of the Zion Chronicles Series books. It is the 5th in the series and the only one of that series that I have read. The Thoene authors have drawn their characters from actual true stories they have researched and heard of the black days of WW II. This series has some characters from the Zion Chronicles Series, which if you've read them, will draw the reader into the personalities and outcome of this story. It is a story of the fight the Jewish settlers have had and that continues today to establish a homeland in Israel. Exciting action filled with good character development and excellent descriptive passages. Very Good Read.
