VERY GOOD First Edition, 1st Printing. First and scarcest of the Jones series on 'The Great One', published in his rookie year. 8.5" x 11", 94 pages, b&w and color photos. Crisp, clean, tight, unmarked but for school award bookplate on first page. Wraps have light edge wear, binding is tight, all text and photo pages FINE. -If you are a collector of Gretzky memorabilia, this is a great book to add to your collection. It contains a nice mix of text and photos, including several full-page photos suitable for framing. Gretzky's hero as a child was Gordie Howe, and this book has several photos of Gretzky and Howe playing together on the WHA all-star team vs. Moscow Dynamo in 1979. It also includes many pics of Gretzky's first year as an Oiler, and some photos of his earlier years as a member of the Soo Greyhounds, Young Nationals of Toronto and the Indianapolis Racers.
