A very good, sturdy hard cover over all with minor shelf wear and rubbing at the corners, gilt titles bright; hinges and binding solid, paper lightly yellowed with some foxing to the endpapers and with the previous owner's small bookplate. Lacking dust jacket. A very nice reading copy.

A good, clean, neat, hardcover first edition with light shelf wear, indentations marks to fore-edges and to bottom edge, light foxing to endpapers, hinges and binding tight, pages faintly yellowed. Interior condition of binding and pages is very good.
