Front panel has a few scratches and is creased towards the lower portion else very good. A reasonably nice and perfectly usable copy of this excellent and well written english concertina method and reference written by one of the key proponents of the instrument. Profusely illustrated with musical examples and detailed photographs on how to play the instrument and accompanied by a sizeable repetoire of tunes to play. Includes several articles on the history of the instrument, it's major artists and repair of the instrument. Also included is a discography and bibliography. Front panel has a portrait of the author and artist as a young man with his instrument. This copy is lacking the sound sheet which originally accompanied this book and is usually missing. A wonderful book. Scarce.
