A Very Good Plus copy of this Paperback Original with light wear to the fold of the front cover. One of the strangest post-MJim Morrison artifacts was "The Bank of America of Louisiana". The book opens with the line: "This is the storu of the reappearance on earth of a dead Hollywood rock star as super hippie, disguised as a mild-mannered Louisiana banker." In an issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Doors biographer Jerry Hopkins wrote: "The 200 pages of prose that followed were described accurately by one of the few book reviewers as "either prenatal or post-Quaalude." The author was reportedly an eccentric from an influential family in Louisiana who changed his name to Jim Morrison after claiming the spirit of the Lizard King entered his body during an acid trip.

Near Fine. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR JIM MORRISON on the front pastedown. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1975 stated 1st edition of this wild story of the "re-appearance on earth of a deceased Hollywood rock star as Super Hippy disguised as a mild minded Louisiana Banker". Tight and Near Fine in its pictorial wrappers, with just a touch of staining at the preliminaries. Octavo, 188 pgs.
