After thrilling to biographies of Truman, Andrew Johnson, Lincoln, John Adams, Washington, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, I looked forward to this purported biography of Lyndon Johnson. What a disappointment!!!!! It's nothing by transcripts of phone calls and recordings of talk in the Oval Office. Beschloss should be ashamed!
