Very Good in Fair jacket. Book Excellent condition with slightest yellowing, light fading to black cloth cover on top front edge, DJ is covered in protective sleeve, though it has a large tear on back and the sleeves are bent/wrinkled, it is intact underneath the plastic...and the pictue of Emmett smoking a cigarette and reading iwhile bathing n a clawfoot bathtub looks great! Carolina, but lived and worked in Europe between 1949-1966, and was editor-in-chief of the Something Else Press from 1966-1970. In the fifties, he became closely involved with the European intermedia avant-garde, epitomized by the 'darmstadt circle'; in the Sixties, he was an initiator of fluxus, an int'l post-dada, mixed means movement. His writing reflects the experimental tradition in the non-literary arts.
