The first omnibus collection of the poems of Clark Ashton Smith, containing over 500 selections and that reproduces entire volumes of verse long out of print or never before published in their entirety. Though not finally published until 1971, from September, 1944 to December, 1949, Smith, in none way or another, was involved in the production of this book, revising old poems, creating new ones, a nd painstakingly preparing the manuscript himself despite serious eye trouble. Long before the early science fiction and fantasy magazines, Clark was creating a unique type of fantasy and sci-fi in verse.
