This copy recased in quarter leatherette spine and decorated paper-covered boards. Original endpapers present, but not the front and rear wraps. Lewis Turco's copy with his personalized bookplate affixed to the inside front board and his embossed stamp on the title page. Inscribed by Pound on the front free endpage. "Greetings Lewis Turco Ezra Pound St Aidigio di Rafallo 22 July 1970. " Also signed by Turco on the rear free endpage above which he has penned "It's bad enough to have to worry/About Phil Sidney and Howard Surrey, /But I'll be damned, I will be bound/I'd I'll lose sleep over Tom & Pound. " "Sidney" and "Howard" are pencilled in by Turco. On the inside rear board, over his Dresden, Maine address, Turco has written "handb 1958 Turco. " (The recasing is amateurishly, though carefully, done so it's likely Turco did it himself. ) Turco's ink annotations on aprx twenty pages. "Pound Poems" hand printed in gold ink on the spine (presumably by Turco). Board edges with shelfwear, corners worn with some loss of paper, upper corners bumped, pages toned.
