Her performances of Mackenzie's nearly unknown Pibiroch Suite and McEwen's previously unrecorded Scottish Rhapsody "Prince Charlie" are superlatively played and wonderfully touching. And her performance of a duet with Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser is twice as well played and absolutely irresistible.
