I thourghly enjoyed this book as others have stated it does go into detail but Ms. Millay led such an interesting life and her poems--- were sheer genius (at least the majority were) IMO I so enjoyed the telling of Ms, Millay's life that i bounght another and sent a copy to my girlfriend!

This was a very intersting book, though sometime it was more detalied then it needed to be and felt drawn out. But I am glad I read it and would definitly reccomend it.

beautiful biography.....
I loved reading Savage Beauty, but it is a long , very detailed book. There was so very much to learn about this American icon, I wanted to keep reading and reading. This is a great read for those who love biographies.
