A nice copy of this book which was published on the occasion of the exhibition "Reginald Marsh. Selections from the Felicia Meyer Marsh Bequest" held at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City in 1979. Scarce.
Very good in fine jacket. Nd. 306 pp, with 239 illustrations, including 85 color plates. Covers Marsh's entire oeuvre, from the 1920s to 1950s, including examples of his paintings, murals, etchings, engravings, chinese ink drawings, sketchbook pages, and anatomical studies. Boards have minimal wear, binding is tight. There is some foxing to the page edges, front flyleaf, and title page, and the volume smells a bit musty. Dust jacket is clean and bright, with no chips or tears. Volume is quite large and heavy; shipping charges will be more than standard for priority or international orders.
