Very detailed information in this book. I especially enjoyed the descriptions of several pieces that were reworked and of how the crowns were refitted so that a new sovereign could wear them.

I doubt that a more comprehensive and entertaining and informative book on this subject could be possible. The four years spent in preparation have paid off handsomely. Ms. Field deserves special praise for having gained the "help and guidance" of HM the Queen and the Royal Household. The stunning photographs are proof.

This book has great pictures of England's famous jewels and tell the history of where the jewels originated and who they were passed down to. A great book for anyone interested in famous jewlery or the history of royal jewels.
