Proper Irish (Jaded Lily Book 1) by Zeia Jameson
This is my 2nd book by this author and I loved this one as much as I did the first. I think what I loved about this book the most is that there was no hidden hurtful pasts or bad relationships that caused these two to guard their hearts leaving the road wide open for these two to get to know each other....Although that will be hard to do when it seems they totally despise each other.
This was such a fun read, I read it in one sitting and completely fell in love with these characters, Padraig is the mayor's son and although he loves his Dad, he can't even come close to stomaching Victoria, the woman he is married to. He lives part time with his Mam, and the other part of the time he lives in a room at the Jaded Lily, a tattoo shop. He is a very generous and loving person to most people and I fell in love with him from the beginning, even with him being so hateful to some, I knew there had to be a reason.
Stella is an event coordinator working for a company that is handling the mayors St. Patrick's Day ball. Her boss has begun acting really weird and has made it almost impossible to keep her job. She can't seem to please her or the Mayor's wife during the planning of this ball and it is weighing on her terribly, and to top it off she is dealing with a gorgeous man full of tattoos who can't seem to do or say anything to her besides calling her stupid.
This story had such an easy flow and the storyline was fantastic, I love how it did not drag on and it wasn't filled with any fluff that wasn't needed for the story to play out. I can't wait to read the next book in this series, Luca and Kerry were an awesome part of this book and I hope that Padraig and Stella are still an awesome part of theirs.
