They established themselves as a fighting force during their valient defence at Ypres, now legendary in Canadian military history. They returned to Europe again in 1939 and were among the first to liberate Holland. They fought again in Korea, intervened in Cyprus and during the breakup of Yugoslavia, and still today defend their homes in Canada from disasters of the elements.
