Good. A good+ book. Clean text. Good reader copy. Text in English, Finnish. 99p.; 24 cm. Bibliography: p. -. With great humor and seriousness, Saarikoski shows us how to live in the mixed up world of political upheaval and everyday human situations. This is a terrific translation of a very good poet.
Very Good + First edition, trade paperback, has slight sunning to spine with a touch to edges of covers, previous seller's sticker to rear cover, and a hint of shelfwear to corners and spine ends, otherwise a clean, solid VG+ copy.
Fine copy w/ only light age toning to spine & edges. First edition. Hardcover. 99 pages. One of only 200 copies. A collection of poems from this important Finnish writer. Translated by Anselm Hollo. A fine copy in cloth boards. Seemingly fairly uncommon.
A good book of English translations of some Saarikoski poems. I prefer another book - 'Helsinki' - for a better English version of the poem entitled 'Helsinki', but this book contains many more poems in total. However, we still do not have an English translation of the Helsinki cycle of poems published in 'Kuljen Missä Kuljen' which, disappointingly, this book does not include.
