Over the years I have acquired a wide range of books written about Winston Churchill, but until recently very few of those he wrote. The task is now almost complete and while I have not yet read every one, this little book is hugely readable, not as wordy as some of his work. It gives a short glimpse into his thinking on recreation, a favourite of which was painting. Altogether a charming read.
