The New Holistic Herbal is well-organized - chapters define herbs useful for different body systems e.g. digestive, respiratory, etc. Sample remedies and proportions are elaborated. The middle section describes methods of preparing tinctures, infusions, decoctions and other distillations of herbs for internal and external use. The last section lists over one hundred herbs, their uses and contraindications. I have found it to be very informative and useful for healing remedies.
