Brown cloth backed with sharp and bright gilt title, with reddish-brown boards, very clean and unmarked, with bumped and scuffed lower front corner. Upper corners lightly bumped. Facsimiles from the original manuscripts of Bernard Shaw for each poem with a series of photographs in monotone of Ellen Terry at various stages in her long theatrical career, one photograph with each of the 18 poems in manuscript. This is followed by the poems in typescript for easier reading. Clean jacket is lightly wrinkled on upper edge, light dust-dulling. 1980, Stein & Day, New York.
