Later she married a multimillionaire and lived in grand houses in England and Scotland. When her husband died, Daisy Low looked for something useful to do. One day she met Sir Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scouts and its sister organization, the Girl Guides. In 1912, Daisy started the first American Girl Guides troops in Savannah, Georgia.
