Booklet is fine with the letter as described. First Edition. Inscribed & dated 3/14/70 by Miller to Henry Reizes. A short essay/booklet of typical Henry Miller travel, reflection & autobiography, illustrated with 31 small minimalist line drawings by Big Sur legendary artist Bob Nash (who died in 2008 at age 89). Miller, having visited some ruins in Southern France, is reminded of Nash's work and sets off on a series of reflections. Stapled booklet measures 5.5"x4.25". Included is a 2-page handwritten thank-you letter written to Reizes dated the same day as the inscription in the book. Miller needed money at this time, and was selling both art and some various literary efforts to keep his writing afloat. The letter to Reizes is in fine condition in its original postmarked envelope.
