Very Good. No Jacket. First edition, two volume set. Very good with no dust jackets. Decorative red cloth with gilt lettering and graphics to spines and gilt to top page edges. Both volumes show light edge wear, spines have been lightly sunned. Interior of both front covers show previous owner's book plate. there is light browning to fly leaves and page edges that does not effect the text or illustrations. Text remains crisp and clean, bindings firm. A solid set.
