Acceptable. A book with obvious wear. May have some damage to the cover or binding but integrity is still intact. There might be writing in the margins, possibly underlining and highlighting of text, but no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text.
Good. Ex-Library Book-will contain Library Markings. Light shelving wear with minimal damage to cover and bindings. Pages show minor use. Help save a tree. Buy all your used books from Thriftbooks. Read. Recycle and Reuse.
I am homeschooled in 7th grade. I first read this book as a homework assignment in my reading book, but it doesn't seem like any homework to me. It's great! I love how the author illustrates the passion as well as the sorrow of the story. The hero of the book is Jacques Chenier, a fourteen-year-old whose father is killed by a nobleman. Donnalynn Hess dramatically unfolds the story as Jacques is imprisoned in the Bastille and escapes, gets swept into the French Revolution, and finally finds true honor through Christ. I was spellbound as I read the story, and I will definitely recommend this book to anyone.
