The top right corners of the covers are lightly bumped. Number 181 of 250. Signed by McClure on the limitation page. Michael McClure, at the age of 22, delivered his first poetry reading at the legendary Six Gallery event in San Francisco, where Allen Ginsberg first read Howl.

Of a total edition of 325 copies signed by McClure-250 of which were numbered & in softcover, this is one of 75 hardcover copies with an original signed drawing by McClure-in fact, this is copy #1 of that series. Beautifully printed by Saul and Lillian Marks on handmade watermarked paper at the Plantin Press, in a beautifully designed binding in boards with a colorful fabric spine. The original drawing is very characteristic of McClure. 4to boards, cloth spine with spine-label.
