This is the true and colorful story of Lola Kirkland, a grandma who pursued adventures in Alaska, beyond the Arctic Circle to the North Slope and Native Villages. It is a true recording in her own words, as told to author Alberta Weed. The book is SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY LOLA KIRKLAND ("Sharing with you my adventures in Alaska / Lola Kirkland") on the front endpaper, and also has a former owner's name and address notation inside the front cover. Otherwise it is clean, with solid binding, a near fine hardcover in blue cloth. IN SCARCE ORIGINAL DUST JACKET, a very good, edgeworn dust jacket (which is now protected by a mylar wrapper).
