Hardback picture book measures about 9 1/4 by 12 1/2 inches, shows some minor edge wear, but overall is in good to very good condition. Pages are very clean and crisp. Dust jacket shows edge wear, has some tears and is missing paper here and there, but jacket is in a Brodart protector and looks respectable. The D'Aulaire pictures are, of course, wonderful!
