Reddish-brown boards of hardcover are clean and very nearly pristine, save for some sunning, and corners are sharp. Spine shows softening at head and tail and bears a slight cant; binding seems a bit stiff, but is intact, and though there is a small gouge on the top edge and the pastedowns bear some creasing, all pages are sunned but clean, with no marking or highlighting.
