In-depth history of gardening, containing previously unpublished photographs as well as contemporary plans, maps, and a great many illustrations. --Oversize hardcover, 10x14 inches. Condition: near fine (but damage to top-edge) in near fine dust jacket. ISBN 3822882755.
Very Good. 3822882755 237pp. (green spine) Folio sized. 1997. First edition thus. A very good, clean, tight copy in like wrapper. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions in colour. Original publisher's green boards-with white text to the spine and to the front board. No inscriptions. The tail of the spine bumped with some light associated creasing to the overlying wrapper. The wrapper has not been price-clipped and is a little shelf-worn. The sub-title should read 'Discovering the world of Gardens' instead of 'gardening'.
