Each fish has a profile drawing and color photograph. Much space is devoted to local fishing and spearfishing stories, as well as accounts of habits and characteristics. There are also recipes and special attention has been given to practical fishing methods and the tricks the Polynesians use to catch the reef, lagoon and deep sea fish.
